Reduced capacity on Asia trade - get in quick

With the festive period only weeks away Sanata is busy shining his sleigh and most people are gearing up before the busy holiday season. In preparation most businesses have organised their international shipping well in advanced and shipping lines see a decrease in voluming heading to Australia.

Shipping lines have reduced details on their reduced Far East Asia trade.

  • Between week 38 (September 16th) to week 43 (October 21st) more than 24,000 TEU have been removed.
  • Carriers will continue to remove space at a rate of around 3,000 to 4,000 TEU per week.
  • The real slow down begins with reduced space implemeted across the board in week 48 (November 25th).
